Antara, a grade 11 student, recognizes a common challenge among students who study abroad: exposure to foreign environments and the accompanying vulnerability to exchange rate fluctuations. She emphasises the importance of budget management in such situations.
Observing that there a lack of suitable options for university students to efficiently track and manage their finances while abroad, Antara has designed and built her own app to address this issue. She plans to develop an app that will offer features like a to-do list, an expense lock screen, and a currency converter. Her goal is to have this app ready for publication by June of the following year. This app aims to empower students studying abroad with the tools they need to navigate financial challenges effectively.

"I was so amazed to see the young minds presenting their idea in such a systematic and comprehensive manner. Their clarity of thought was commendable and how in 3 minutes they presented their ideas and also the larger business plan and the need for the funding. Their ideas were very innovative and driven by consumer insights and market need gaps. What was even nice was how they layered it with trending AI and AR technology in some cases while others had great product ideas which were more bricks-and-mortar."
