StartupYou believes in empowering learners with 21st Century skills and competencies to thrive in the VUCA/ BANI world. As educators, it is our responsibility to prepare our learners for the future and transform them as ‘life entrepreneurs’.
Our ‘Train the Trainer’ program is for any educator including teacher learners, teachers from any grade, and Heads of Schools. The sessions are designed based on the school’s requirement in alignment with the curriculum at StartupYou. The duration could be a Masterclass session or a full course of approximately 8 weeks.
Our first Train the Trainer program for Leaders and Principals from the Vijay Kiran Group of schools, Bangalore (January – March 2022 ) had exclusive sessions on Goal setting in the 21st Century by Lt. General Arjun Ray, Deep reading by Dr Mala Palani (ITARI), Purpose and Happiness by our mentor Manny Anchan, Personal branding by Deepak Justin and a Design Thinking workshop by our mentor Pooja Kapoor.
For further information on the program and to enroll your educators, please email to info@startupyou.in

“StartupYou is privileged to be associated with the Indus International Community School (IICS), an equal opportunity school for underprivileged children from grades 1 to 10. Every year, a group of learners from the middle school are part of the StartupYou program.
The curriculum is designed for our learners from the community school to be Start-up Ready, Life ready and Market-ready. Regardless of the career, they choose, this program will help them succeed as the focus is in building a designer’s mindset through our Design Thinking Program. This is further strengthened with a focus on experiential learning opportunities to develop leadership, business, and innovation competencies.”
The students from IICS have gone through the ‘Design Thinking’ Process and have been empowered by skills such as critical thinking, creativity. They have come up with ideas, that can transform the lives of people in their community and are moving towards testing their prototypes. They are working in collaboration to work on completing the prototypes. Their ideas range from financial literacy for women to hygiene and garbage control. We are excited to be a part of their journey and take their ideas forward!
StartupYou and Mentormind both aim at making students ‘Future Ready’ and by participating in the summer internships, the students would get closer to being ‘Future Ready’. We would like to quote our student who once said “Internships are where one gets paid in knowledge instead of money” and that’s our aim through the program.
Mentormind provides a great opportunity for students to sit in their own space while being a part of rigorous internships and projects.
Psychology is my career aspiration. The menternship was helpful to understand it better. Then menternship tasks were broken down, step-by-step and with explanation. I was able to complete all without the pressure. I learnt clinical report, I did not have any experience at all earlier and it was the first time I wrote. It was new and interesting.
I picked Interior designing as it is one of the things I'm planning to pursue. It helped me understand how actual industry might work and how my future would be. I learnt about interior design, bedroom design, styles, color palletes, and used these in my school project too. The feedback from the mentors also helped me at school project as well. I have taken an extension as I am in 11th boarding and there are laptop submission times. Will try to complete it wihtin next week. The 1-on-1 were very helpful. This was enough and there was nothing more I could have asked.
